SCCU Inducted into NSW Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame

On Saturday 19th October the winners of the NSW Business Chamber, Northern Rivers Regional Business Awards were announced and we were grateful to receive the award for Excellence in Business. We also became the inaugural inductee into the Hall of Fame for Excellence in Professional Service which recognises the achievement of having taken out the Excellence in Professional Service award – 3 years in a row – which has never been achieved before.

Our CEO Stuart Edward mentioned, “I was honoured to accept these awards on behalf of our business. It truly recognises our team’s relentless dedication and tireless effort to improve our business and provide exceptional support for our customers and community; especially at a time where our industry is experiencing unprecedented change. I’m continually inspired by the fantastic team we have and the lengths they go to make sure our customers actually matter; and aren’t just a number.”

“It’s been a very big year for SCCU as we continue to show that local, customer owned banking can make a real difference to our customers and our community. These awards are a result of our drive to deliver a truly customer centric experience where our customers choose to advocate for us; where we are socially responsible and involved in our community; where trust, values and culture really mean something; and where our entire team is engaged in the success of our business and the financial wellbeing of our customers.”

“We’ll continue to find new ways to reinvest our profits into delivering better products and services for our customers. Congratulations to our amazing team and a big thank you to our loyal customers for helping us achieve everything we have over the last few years. This one’s for you!”
