Daniel Roff is one of our Premium Bankers, often visiting customers throughout the beautiful surrounds of Ballina, Lismore and Byron Bay. With over twenty years of industry experience, having worked with Westpac, Suncorp, NAB and Greater Bank respectively, Daniel honed in on home loan lending as his specialty and joined SCCU in 2018.
Making the sea change from Sydney, Daniel now lives in beautiful Ballina. As well as a great reputation as a home lender, Daniel has himself ventured into the world of property investing. He can offer local knowledge and insights, like understanding the community character of different suburbs, and enjoys being part of the customer journey. He has a relaxed approach, but an eagerness to support throughout the process of buying a home – whether it be a purchase for a homeowner or an investor. Daniel genuinely cares for the customer and enjoys building a relationship based on honesty and trust.

Daniel is kept busy outside of SCCU with two children but can also often be found at community events, making time for these when he can. Representing SCCU on a panel discussion on sustainability and environment at the ‘Festival for the Seas’, hosted by Byron Bay Brewery, Daniel enjoyed getting involved and supporting our community partners Positive Change for Marine Life on this important topic. You’ll also see Daniel around town with his family enjoying the offerings of the local fare (he recommends The Rous Hotel in Lismore, who do a great Steak Night, and watching the sunset at The Wharf Bar in Ballina for anyone visiting) or connecting with the business community attending Chamber of Commerce networking events in both Ballina and Alstonville.
For Daniel, representing SCCU is easy, with decisions made in the region, for the region. With company headquarters in Kingscliff and the SCCU community values, for Daniel the impact can be seen every day and is incredibly unique.
