An SMS security token (also known as an SMS One Time Password or OTP) is an extra layer of protection for your banking. It works by sending a unique code to your mobile phone, which you’ll need to enter when completing certain actions, such as transactions to new payees, password resets, card activation, and PIN changes. This two-factor authentication helps keep your accounts more secure.
If you would like access to enhanced security when using NetBanking or the Mobile App, you can enable the SMS token facility.
The SMS token can be set up via our Financial Service Centres or over the phone on 1300 360 744.
If your card is ever lost, stolen, or you notice unusual activity, you can take action immediately in the mobile app. Simply lock your card temporarily, cancel and reorder a new one, or call us directly for assistance during our business hours. This ensures your money stays safe while you sort things out.
If your card is lost or stolen within Australia, contact us on 1800 621 199 immediately. If you’re overseas, visit Visa’s global support page to find the correct contact number.
Visa Checkout is a secure and convenient way to pay online. Simply click the Visa Checkout button at online checkouts, sign in with your email and password, confirm your payment preferences, and complete your purchase quickly. You can use your Visa Debit or any other major credit or debit card through this single service.
