Antony Chan
Antony joined SCCU in August 2022 as our very first Head of Customer Relationships. In this role, Antony will lead our Financial Service Centre Managers and Premium Bankers in doing what they do best; serving the community and being the financial institution of choice through delivering an exceptional customer experience.
SCCU has such a rich history of serving the community so it’s very exciting to join the team where I know I will be able to add value and make a difference.
Antony brings with him over 20 years of banking and finance experience where he started as a Personal Finance Representative before moving into more senior leadership roles in the banking industry such as being the State Manager (NSW) at the Bank of Sydney. Coupled with his extensive banking experience, Antony also brings to the SCCU team his strong leadership skills which have seen him successfully develop and grow large teams of bankers to not only reach their full potential but also the goals of the business. He has achieved this by being a leader who listens and genuinely cares about his people.
Your people are your biggest asset so you can’t afford to take a blanket approach when leading them. Getting to really know each person in your team is the absolute key to building trust, loyalty and comradery.
When it comes to customers, it is very evident that this another one of Antony’s great passions and a big part of the reason why he chooses to work for smaller and more nimble organisations. His customer service philosophy is very simple… we must put the customer at the centre of everything we do every single day!.
